GTM consulting covers the systems and workflows that connect a go-to-market strategy to actual revenue. We build that execution layer for B2B software companies doing $2M to $30M annually. The scope is what a RevOps or GTM operations team would own. We deliver it as working automation.
The definition
The term covers a wide range. Strategy-focused GTM consulting defines your ICP, selects a sales motion, and produces a messaging framework. The execution side is the tools, workflows, and automations that make the motion run week after week without manual intervention.
We work at the execution end. If you have a strategy and need the technical layer built behind it, that is where we engage.
Most GTM problems at the $2M to $30M stage are not strategy problems. The strategy exists. What is missing is the operational layer to execute it consistently, and that is what we build.
What we build
Each system addresses a specific part of the revenue motion. Most engagements cover two to four of these, depending on where the gaps are.
We build the logic that scores inbound leads against your ICP definition, classifies them by fit tier, and surfaces the accounts worth pursuing from the noise.
Clean, enriched contact and account records are the foundation of every downstream workflow. We automate enrichment from your data providers and keep the CRM in sync.
We build the end-to-end outbound system: sourcing, enrichment, signal scoring, personalized copy generation, sequence enrollment, and reply handling. The manual SDR prep work disappears.
We automate the logic that routes inbound and outbound leads to the right rep based on territory, segment, or deal stage. Handoffs stop leaking in Slack threads and email chains.
We build the reporting layer that tracks pipeline by stage, rep, segment, and campaign. Revenue teams get accurate numbers without anyone pulling them manually each week.
We wire attribution across your marketing, outbound, and sales data so you can see which activities drive pipeline and which ones just produce activity metrics.
The process
We run a fixed discovery phase before any build starts. That eliminates scope surprises and means everything we build maps to a documented, agreed-upon outcome.
We spend the first week mapping your stack, data flows, and where pipeline leaks between tools and teams. We document what exists, what is broken, and what the build needs to accomplish before we scope anything.
We define exactly what gets built, in what order, and what you need to have in place before we start. You approve the scope before we write a line of automation.
We build against your real stack. Everything is tested against live data before handoff. We do not deliver something that works in isolation and breaks in production.
Every system we build is documented. Your team can run, modify, and extend it without us. Ongoing dependency is not the goal.
Right fit
This engagement works when the gap is execution, not strategy. These are the situations where clients typically come to us:
How we work
Most GTM consultancies deliver strategy and recommendations. The output is a document or a set of slides. Implementation is your problem.
We build the implementation. The output is a working system in your production environment, documented and tested. We do not hand over slides.
Tool-agnostic
We work with the stack you have. We do not push you toward specific vendors and we do not earn referral fees on software.
Fixed scope, fixed handoff
Every engagement ends with a documented handoff. Your team owns the system. There is no ongoing dependency by design.
Execution, not advisory
We build. If a system we scope cannot be built cleanly within your current tools and data, we tell you before we start, not after.
Common questions
GTM consulting is the practice of helping a company build and execute its go-to-market motion. At the strategy end, that means defining the ICP, positioning, sales motion, and channels. At the execution end, it means the systems, tools, and automations that make the motion run. The term is broad enough to cover both. We focus on the execution end.
The terms overlap significantly. A RevOps agency focuses on the operational and technical layer: CRM configuration, data pipelines, automation, and reporting. A GTM consultancy might also cover strategy, positioning, and go-to-market planning. We sit at the intersection. We build the operational and automation layer that makes a GTM strategy run, which is the same scope a RevOps function would own.
We are tool-agnostic and build on top of whatever you already run. Common stacks include HubSpot or Salesforce as the CRM, Clay or Apollo for enrichment and outbound, and n8n or Make for automation. If your stack is different, that is not a problem. We assess what you have during discovery and build accordingly.
Typical engagements run four to twelve weeks depending on scope. A single system, such as an end-to-end outbound workflow or a lead routing and scoring setup, usually takes four to six weeks from discovery through handoff. Builds covering multiple systems run longer. We scope the timeline before we start, so there are no surprises.
We do not. Our model is project-based with a fixed scope and a documented handoff. If you need modifications or additions after the engagement, we scope those as a new project. Ongoing retainers create dependency. Our goal is that you do not need us once the system is handed off.
Access to your stack during discovery, a clear point of contact who can answer questions about your process, and enough clarity on your GTM motion that we can design the system around it. You do not need a perfectly documented process. Uncovering gaps is part of what discovery is for.
A RevOps manager is an ongoing hire who owns and iterates on your revenue operations over time. We are a project-based engagement that builds specific systems and hands them off. If you need someone in-seat managing the operation week to week, that is a hire. If you need specific systems built and documented quickly without adding headcount, that is an engagement like ours.
Ready to build
A 30-minute discovery call is enough to see what is missing between your current stack and a running GTM motion. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
